Implant Bar Overdenture

This older gentleman had an upper denture that didn't stay in very well.  He had a difficult time chewing his food and reported that it would take a long time to eat because his dentures were not working for him.  To solve his problems, Dr. Jordan placed 4 dental implants in his upper jaw.  The dental implants were connected by a titanium bar to keep everything stable and allow locator attachments to be used.  A new upper denture was make that clips into the locator attachments.  What a transformation!  The new denture requires quite a bit of force to remove and hardly moves in his mouth.
